Birthdays like a rain...

Hi everyone, i took the responsibility again for posting the photos from Andreas and Hannes birthdays, it was quite a strange week, in the sense I had a feeling as if i were celebrating birthdays the whole week, what about you iceussies? :-) Anyway want to wish all the best to both of "the guilty of the parties", there were so many wishes and i am still hungover, so i won't be tauthological(can i say that?), and will thank Andrea for invitation to Löwen and going to disco, and thank Hanne for the party and food (btw, can you send me some recipis? you will help, thus, the always starving me and Michael:-).
Here are some photos from the parties.

Cheers!
Firdavs.

Iceus is now on a mulitmedia format...

Dear ICEUS

Things have taken an exciting turn for the better. We now have video!

For example...

Hiking in die Rhön

So how to do it...
1. Click onto YouTube (link located in sidebar)
2. Login as iceus (with usual password)
3. Follow the prompts to upload the video and save.
4. Copy the html code that is written in the box at the bottom when the video has successfully saved.
5. Add this to your blog entry.

Too easy.

Ok there are a few difficult bits now. In the coding, make sure that all the "width=425" is "width=425". There is one that is written as "width=600" change this one. this makes the video will fit into the blog page. Otherwise the screen won't fit onto the page and looks asthetically displeasing. The second difficult bit is waiting for th evideo to process. This takes about 5minutes. So be patient, it will eventually work. No worries, sit back and take it easy tigers!...AND have fun with it!

Ok well I hope everyone is happy and all is well for this fine break from working. All those people travelling back to Fulda, I hope you have a safe trip.

Peace out and love your work!

Soccer is a game of Football

Dear Everyone and Everything,
Well it has been a tough couple of days, or should I say rough. The semester is in full swing ACHTUNG! Students Crossing! (peak times during and after a Halle 8 party)

So, also now that the World Cup is nearly upon us and in the spirit of going to the Fußball on a Saturday afternoon and watching Frankfurt lose, I thought that I would clarify up some confusion.

Anytime I say football or hear this word in the northen hemisphere (Except USA), I am assuming one means to play soccer. Not any of the four or five codes of playing a game with a ball and your feet.

I think the term was coined up one day (a long time ago), because of the use of one's feet in the game "foot+ball=football" sort of scenerio. The shape of the ball has nothing to do with the word football either. For example, the use of an oblong ball in Australian Football (AFL or Aussie Rules ot Aerial Ping Pong) is definatly a game of "foot+ball=football" but also incorperates fully grown men jumping up and on top of each other, punching a football (red and oblong shaped) in tight, tight short shorts. Very entertaining!

I hope this arguement is now over! Now, anyone for a game of cricket? (btw. this is a whole 'nother ball game!!)

Peace out and love our work
Bec

PS Dare I say "Richpoint"? hehehe
